Following the relaxation of lock down we will re-open on 6th July 2020.

The welfare and safety of both our guests and the Melrose Team is our top priority
and we have followed all Government and Professional Bodies up to date advice and support to ensure we have the required measures in place and have met the industry standard.
We have made a few changes to the way we do things which include:
Â· We will contact you prior to your stay to confirm all details and make all the necessary arrangements to enable
compliance with social distancing during your stay
Social distancing signage is displayed throughout the Guest House
Â· All of the Melrose Team have had Covid-19 awareness training including symptom monitoring,
PPE and social distancing. All staff have temperatures taken at the start of the day
Â· In addition to our usual high levels of cleanliness and hygiene we have introduced a
disinfectant 'fogging' machine which will be used to sanitise your room as part of our
enhanced cleaning procedures with V2 Antiviral Disinfectant (EN14476, EN1276, EN 13697).
Appropriate PPE will be worn by staff when required.
Â· High touch areas have been identified, and sanitation of these areas will take place continually throughout the day
Â· Hand sanitiser stations are positioned at the main entrance and in the dining room
with Anti-bacterial hand wash in all bathrooms.
Â· Breakfast will take place in two sittings to enable social distancing
Â· Breakfast buffet will not be available for self-service but by pre order, followed by a cooked breakfast
Â· House keeping will not be possible, unless for stays over 3 days, unless specifically requested.
If you require tea tray replenishments;please request at breakfast and these will be left outside rooms
Â· Rooms will be deep cleaned after each stay;therefore, latest departure will be 10am and check in slightly later, after 3pm
Â· We will take contactless payments using the card information received from guests on-line
for the balance during your stay, to ensure safe transactions whilst you are with us.
Â· At the moment the Water Fall Spa Leisure facilities are not available
