A perfect stay
We were travelling up for a few days to do the Fred Whitton cycling sportive. We asked for a twin room and we got the most amazing basement room with two rooms, a lovely big bathroom and a sofa and TV. Everything from start to finish was amazing. I could not recommend this hotel enough. Before we left, we had probably the best cooked breakfast I have had in a hotel. A 5 star experience.
Excellent stay & host
Had 2 excellent days in Ambleside, made even better by the Melrose Guesthouse.The location was perfect & included (nearby free parking). The room decor was very pleasant & the breakfasts excellent.Tracey was an excellent host.I would diffinitely recommend the Melrose.
