Warm, amazing, good breakfast
Tracey and Kevin looked after us so well! The room was clean and warm. The breakfast was delicious. When our clothes and shoes got soaked from our hike, Kevin and Tracey dried them for us. So lovely and generous!
Fabulous stay
We had a lovely 2 night break at the Melrose, Tracey & Kevin are fantastic hosts & go above & beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Our room was spacious spotlessly clean with all home comforts. Wouldn't hesitate to book again when next visiting Ambleside.
Lovely stay
We had a great stay at the Melrose guest house. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, the room was well presented with all amenities you would need. Parking was convenient. Breakfast was delicious. Only slight negative is the pillows were a little thin but apart from that can’t fault it!

Enjoyed a wonderful two night stay at Melrose House.The room was lovely and clean as was the modern bathroom.Our full English breakfast was delicious and served promptly.Tracey was a very friendly and attentive host.Would highly recommend this B&B
